Breeze Airways: Full-Time Flight Attendant - Fort Lauderdale Crew Base Breeze Airways is seeking "Seriously Nice" Full-Time Flight Attendants to join our new crew base in Fort Lauderdale (FLL). As a highly visible member of the team, Flight Attendants are instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and fellow team members. This role requires welcoming and accommodating guests, effectively managing high-stress situations, collaborating with colleagues, exercising sound judgment, and embodying Breeze's core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence. Job Details Monthly minimum guarantee of 70 hours. Must reside within a two-hour driving distance of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Must successfully interview and be selected for the Full-Time Flight Attendant position. Must successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training. Additional Benefits Initial luggage and uniform issuance covered by Breeze. Paid training. Eligibility for 401K benefits after 90 days of employment. Travel benefits on the Breeze network begin after 30 days of employment. Travel benefits on other airlines commence after six months of employment. Maintain a positive and kind demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated. Uphold a safe work environment for all guests and team members. Remain calm under pressure and effectively mitigate high-stress situations. Communicate and collaborate respectfully with fellow team members. Monitor the cabin regularly to remain approachable and accommodating. Adapt to schedule changes due to operational, weather, or unforeseen delays. Administer first-aid and medical care as required during emergencies. Manage personal and emotional responses effectively under stress. Conduct security screenings. Complete Autism Awareness Training. Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations. Achieve performance measures and uphold established standards aligned with Breeze Aviation Group Values. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement. Minimum height requirement to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance. Maximum height requirement to ensure adequate head clearance in the cabin. Ability to sit and buckle into E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt. Neat, well-groomed appearance, capable of making a positive impression. Service-oriented attitude. Adherence to the highest possible hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; ability to communicate safety instructions to non-English speaking guests may be required. Ability to pass a vision and hearing test. Ability to successfully complete security screening training. Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test. Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check. Legal right to work in the U.S. Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States. Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration. Ability to serve alcoholic beverages. Willingness to relocate based on the company's operational needs, if applicable. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed. Ability to report for duty at the assigned base for assigned trips. Ability to work "Reserve Assignment" in the assigned base. Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success. Nose piercings are acceptable and must adhere to company guidelines: Single 2mm or smaller nose stud in silver, gold, or gemstone only; no hoops allowed. No other facial piercings are permitted. No teeth embellishments while in uniform. A maximum of two (2) earrings per ear are permitted while in uniform. Note: Visible tattoos are permissible if they comply with company guidelines, which will be provided during the selection process. Ability to assist disabled passengers into and out of the inflight wheelchair and transport them as needed. Ability to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels, including inclines, with a maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds. Proficiency in performing all safety-related procedures.
