Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Flooring Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is already experienced in multiple flooring types and is eager to keep learning, improving, and growing within a professional company.

We are not looking for someone who only installs one type of flooring — we need a well-rounded installer capable of working across different materials and jobsite conditions.

Installation Experience Needed

This position will involve installing a variety of flooring systems, including:

  • Carpet & Carpet Tile
  • LVT / LVP / Sheet Vinyl
  • VCT
  • Wood Flooring
  • Ceramic & Porcelain Tile
  • Wall Tile & Backsplashes
  • Epoxy & Resinous Flooring Systems
  • Subfloor prep, patching & leveling

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of commercial flooring installation experience preferred
  • Ability to install multiple flooring systems, not just one product type
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • Dependable, on-time, and able to work both independently and as part of a crew
  • Ability to follow plans, layouts, and job instructions
  • Professional attitude on job sites
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-town commercial projects
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, bend, and work on your feet daily
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure proper installation procedures
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring as needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cutting, measuring, and fitting flooring components
  • Perform caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and other finishing tasks to achieve a polished look
  • Assist with water damage restoration projects and floor care maintenance when required
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards on-site
  • Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle materials and tools throughout each project

Skills

  • Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and construction site work
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and buffing equipment
  • Skilled in carpentry techniques including trim carpentry and cabinet installation
  • Familiarity with restoration processes including water damage restoration and industry-specific procedures
  • Ability to interpret schematics and construction drawings accurately
  • Experience with concrete finishing, remodeling, construction painting, fixture installation, and renovation projects is a plus
  • Maintenance Person experience or background in the restoration industry enhances versatility
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
