The ID and Building Security Access </span><br /><span>Representative serves as a liaison to faculty, staff, and facility managers to ensure the safety of facility </span><span>occupants and guarantee the smooth operations of all facility functions and operations</span></p><p>                                                                                              </p><p><b>Core Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Assists customers with Photo ID badges, building access, parking, and public transportation.</p></li><li><p>Processes sales of ID badges and accessories, parking and transit permits, parking validations, bicycle permits, and background checks.</p></li><li><p>Assists customers with replacing broken/lost access and transit cards.</p></li><li><p>Answers phone calls greeting students, faculty and staff and addressing and resolving issues through appropriate channels.</p></li><li><p>Adheres to proper telephone etiquette and use of call center software.</p></li><li><p>Monitors and responds to email inquiries received through two departmental email accounts, one for Parking and another one for Photo ID.</p></li><li><p>Assists customers with scheduling UM Transportation Department shuttles.</p></li><li><p>Processes and distributes daily reports including parking, transit, and access reports.</p></li><li><p>Reconciles daily credit card, check, IDR, payroll deduction and student account sales.</p></li><li><p>Files and scans department records.</p></li><li><p>Programs and troubleshoots ID badges and access cards for campus locking systems.</p></li><li><p>Processes employment clearances Logs customer interaction notes in database.</p></li><li><p>Processes metal key requests and distribution to authorized individuals.</p></li><li><p>Maintains office inventory.</p></li><li><p>Works at the Emergency Hotline call center before, during, and/or after emergencies, including, but not limited to hurricanes.</p></li><li><p>Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Department Specific Functions:</b></p><ul><li><p>The ID and Building Security Access Representative must use very complex systems T2 Flex, Pro-Watch and Onity SystemsAssists customers with Photo ID badges, building access, parking and public transportation</p></li><li><p>Processes sales of ID badges and accessories, parking and transit permits, parking validations, bicycle permits, and background checks.</p></li><li><p>Assists customers with replacing broken/lost access and transit cards.</p></li><li><p>Answer phone calls greeting students, faculty and staff and addressing and resolving issues through</p></li><li><p>appropriate channels.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and respond to email inquiries received through two departmental email accounts, one for Parking and another one for Photo ID.</p></li><li><p>Assists customers with scheduling UM Transportation Department shuttles.</p></li><li><p>Processes and distributes daily reports including parking, transit, and access reports.</p></li><li><p>Reconciles daily credit card, check, IDR, payroll deduction and student account sales.</p></li><li><p>Programs and troubleshoots ID badges and access cards for campus locking systems.</p></li><li><p>Processes employment clearances.</p></li><li><p>Files and scans department records.</p></li><li><p>Logs customer interaction notes in database.</p></li><li><p>Adheres to proper telephone etiquette and use of call center software.</p></li><li><p>Processes metal key requests and distribution to authorized individuals.</p></li><li><p>Categorized as Tier 1 emergency employee.
