In this vital role, you will lead the global payroll accounting and equity administration for a growing AI enterprise. You will oversee partnerships with external payroll providers to ensure compliance, handle various payroll reporting processes, and engage with internal teams for reconciliations and monthly close activities. Accountabilities • Manage outsourced payroll providers across multiple geographies (e.g., US, APAC, EMEA) • Ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll-related journal entries • Own reconciliation of payroll-related accounts (payroll accruals, bonuses, commissions, taxes) • Monitor compliance with local payroll tax regulations and labor laws with external payroll assistance • Manage payment processes to employees, payroll providers, and tax authorities • Support 401k administration • Facilitate responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll • Provide analysis on payroll-related costs • Support audit requests as needed • Manage global equity administration, especially in Carta • Ensure accounting and reporting accuracy of stock-based compensation and equity transactions • Collaborate with People Operations and Legal on equity transactions • Facilitate annual 409a valuation with external providers Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • At least 7 years of experience in corporate accounting, payroll accounting, and related roles • Preferred 2 years of Big 4 public accounting experience • Software and SaaS industry experience preferred • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes • Experience in an international multi-entity environment • Strong time management and project management skills • Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite • Demonstrated analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks • Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, SAP S/4Hana, Bill.com, ADP Workforce Now, and Deel Benefits • Market leader in total rewards • Remote-friendly culture • Flexible working environment • Opportunity to be part of a world-class team • Career growth potential Why Apply Through Jobgether?
