Legal Co-Op Role: Mastercard’s law department offers an engaging and paid legal co-op experience that provides one talented law student from an accredited law school an opportunity to gain exceptional experience and build relationships and exposure across a variety of practice areas. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of attorneys in Mastercard’s law department and will benefit from training and feedback on substantive assignments, mentoring and professional development. The selected law student will gain an understanding of in-house legal roles, the payments and technology industries and Mastercard’s product and engineering businesses. Typical assignments may include identifying and analyzing key legal, regulatory and commercial risks related to Mastercard’s products and services, researching legal issues, collaborating with subject matter experts, drafting contracts, review and preparation of product sales materials, among other matters as needed.

Requirements
