Your mission

As Head of Operations Americas , your mission will be to ensure that our operations across US and LatAm markets run smoothly, efficiently, and in a way that truly fits the local reality of each market.

Based in our Mexico office and reporting directly to the Global Operations Director , you will play a critical role as the key operational connector between three core pillars of the organization:

  • Local business and commercial teams operating in each market, close to customers and market-specific needs

  • Centralized operational teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Support and Finance) based in Mexico, supporting all US and LatAm markets

  • Disciplinary leadership teams in HQ (Spain) , who own the deep functional expertise and define the global standards, frameworks and best practices for each discipline

Your role will be to orchestrate alignment and flow across these three layers , ensuring that operational execution makes sense locally, scales efficiently regionally, and remains fully consistent with the disciplinary foundations set by HQ.

You will lead the continuous adaptation, optimization and iteration of operational processes , translating global principles into effective local execution, while feeding real market insights back into the disciplinary teams to improve and evolve the overall operating model.

Your day to day at Innovamat  

  • Act as the transversal operational leader for Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Support and Finance teams supporting the US and LatAm markets.

  • Ensure strong coordination and alignment between local teams in Mexico and their respective disciplinary leaders in HQ.

  • Analyze, design and optimize end-to-end operational processes , adapting them to the specific needs and constraints of each market.

  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and misalignments between teams, and actively drive solutions.

  • Translate global operational frameworks into practical, locally relevant execution .

  • Work closely with the Global Operations Director and CFO to define priorities, track performance and support scaling efforts.

  • Go deep into operational details when needed, while keeping a business-oriented, holistic view .

  • Contribute to building a high-performance, execution-driven culture in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.

What are we looking for?  

  • A strong background in Operations, Business, Engineering or similar , ideally in fast-growing or complex organizations.

  • Proven experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams in an international context.

  • High comfort operating in a transversal leadership role , influencing without direct disciplinary ownership.

  • Strong process mindset, with the ability to both design systems and dive into execution details .

  • Familiarity with AI tools to streamline processes.

  • Excellent understanding of how operational functions (Supply, Finance, Ops, Support) interconnect.

  • Natural leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, align and support people across teams.

  • High level of ownership, resilience and willingness to work hard in a dynamic, high-growth environment .

  • Strong communication skills, especially in cross-cultural and cross-country setups.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Office relocation to CDMX.
