PLC Programmer – Logistics Automation.

Overview:

We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join a multinational leader in warehouse automation , located in Barcelona .

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience programming PLC systems from scratch (Siemens TIA Portal).
  • Availability to travel 80% of the time (Monday to Friday) for on-site commissioning and start-ups.
  • Motivation to work in a technical environment with high-level automation projects .
  • English level B2–C1 .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and implement PLC programs from scratch using Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Design and develop HMI screens and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Lead equipment setup, calibration, and commissioning at client sites .
  • Provide on-site support during installation and system start-up.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production) to optimize system functionality.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs and system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations .
  • Support and train production and maintenance teams when required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a PLC Programmer.
  • Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal .
  • Demonstrated ability to develop programs from scratch .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
