This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from United States Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Payroll Specialist (US Payroll & Tax Compliance) to manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S.-based employees. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll calculations, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with U.S. payroll processes, including multi-state payroll and tax filings, and is comfortable working with payroll systems and reporting tools. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with internal teams to address payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and support payroll reporting and audits. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of reliability and professionalism. Key Responsibilities • Process and manage end-to-end payroll for U.S.-based employees. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. • Perform payroll tax calculations, filings, and reporting in accordance with U.S. requirements. • Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. • Communicate with internal teams regarding payroll matters, updates, and issue resolution. • Prepare and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Assist with payroll audits and support documentation requests related to payroll processes. • Perform other tasks related to the position. Qualifications & Requirements • Proficient level of English (written and spoken). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Minimum 4 years of experience processing U.S. payroll. • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, regulations, and compliance requirements. • Experience handling multi-state payroll processes. • Proficiency with payroll systems, payroll processing tools, and reporting platforms used in the United States. • Experience with U.S. payroll tax filing systems. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial information accurately and confidentially. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage payroll-related issues effectively. • Experience working with U.S.-based clients is strongly preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Out-of-the-box thinker, proactive, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and confident approach. • Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. • Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision. • Ability to work in alignment with U.S. Eastern Time (New York time) business hours for at least four hours. • Interested in long-term career opportunities. • Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
