POSITION SUMMARY Evins is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Manager to support hospitality clients based on O‘ahu. This part-time/contract role will be instrumental in shaping and executing social media strategies that bring elevated guest experiences and brand narratives to life across digital platforms. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on content creation, has a strong visual eye and understands how to capture and communicate the nuances of luxury hospitality – from on-property moments to destination-driven storytelling. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with brand positioning, seasonal programming and campaign priorities · Capture and produce on-site photo and video content (including short-form video/Reels) that reflects the guest experience, amenities and destination lifestyle · Write engaging, on-brand captions and copy tailored to platform and audience · Execute real-time content opportunities, including property activations, events and experiential moments · Partner closely with PR and client teams to ensure integrated storytelling across earned, owned and influencer channels · Manage social publishing, scheduling and community engagement, including timely responses and tone-appropriate interactions · Monitor social trends and platform innovations to keep content fresh, relevant and culturally resonant · Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize engagement and growth · Coordinate influencer and creator content, including on-property logistics and content approvals · Maintain consistency in brand voice, visual standards and elevated positioning QUALIFICATIONS · Must be based on O‘ahu, with flexibility to visit properties for content capture as needed · 3-5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within hospitality, travel or lifestyle sectors · Proven experience with on-site content capture and mobile-first video creation · Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with a refined sense of brand voice · Proficiency in social platforms and tools (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn; Sprout, etc.) · Working knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or equivalent) · Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy · Highly organized with experience managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES · Experience working with luxury or boutique hotels/resorts · Strong visual sensibility and understanding of hospitality-driven storytelling (food & beverage, rooms, experiences, destination) · Familiarity with Hawai‘i culture and the O‘ahu market · Comfortable capturing candid, in-the-moment content while maintaining a polished, brand-appropriate aesthetic · Collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented ENGAGEMENT DETAILS · Part-time / contract role (hours vary based on scope and property needs) · Hybrid / remote with regular on-property presence on O‘ahu required · Competitive hourly / contract rate based on experience ABOUT EVINS Evins Communications is an independent marketing communications agency that partners with lifestyle brands to spark emotion, inspire action, and leave a lasting impression.
