At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.

Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.

Are you passionate about transforming accounting operations through product, automation, and AI? Join the IT Enterprise Systems team at Pinterest to help build the next generation of accounting capabilities, improving efficiency, controls, decision-making, and user experience across our accounting ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

  • You possess a mix of technical strength, business strength, and the ability to navigate stakeholders across different business areas and have experience building cross-functional relationships across engineering and business peers to ensure objectives are well defined and clearly understood.
  • You are able to navigate working at the strategic level (e.g. generating innovative ideas for growth, establishing KPI’s, leading through change management) and at the tactical level (e.g. analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier).
  • You will communicate strategy, priorities and consistent product messaging to stakeholders and users.
  • You will own, prioritize, communicate, and evangelize accounting product roadmap across IT and business stakeholders.
  • You will engage the business to identify their needs and spot opportunities to build features that increase engagement and drive efficiencies.
  • You will ensure that product directions balance both the user needs and business goals of driving cost efficiencies, end user productivity, and improve management of income and cash.
  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for accounting and finance systems and workflows.
  • Partner with Accounting, IT, Engineering, Data, and vendors to identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and stronger user experience.
  • Apply strong judgment to where AI should be used, ensuring appropriate validation, controls, and human accountability.
  • Help modernize accounting operations through process, technology, and enablement improvements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years product management experience with minimum 4+ years in a product role in a global organization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural and cross-functional environments.
  • Nimble to deliver for stakeholders: You know how to navigate hurdles and stay focused on great customer experience.
  • Significant product ownership or product management experience in accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Tax) and the ability to connect technology investments to business value.
  • Experience driving systems implementations or transformations across multiple accounting process areas, ideally in SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI in real business workflows, not just conceptual familiarity.
  • Strong judgment in validating AI outputs, managing risk, and maintaining ownership of final decisions and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven ability to operate strategically and tactically, from long-term vision to day-to-day delivery.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and iterative product development.
