About the position

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking highly analytical and data-driven Web Content Administrator to join our global Digital Marketing Team. Web Content Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the firm’s website(s) and related digital platforms. This role ensures that online content is accurate, current, accessible, user-friendly and optimized for search engines (SEO) while supporting the firm’s broader digital content strategy. Working in close collaboration with Marketing & Communications, Digital Marketing team leads, and content contributors across the firm, the Web Content Administrator publishes, updates and maintains firm approved web content in accordance with established brand, editorial, accessibility, and quality standards, ensuring that audio, visual, and written content meets defined quality expectations and delivery timelines. You’ll also support the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of content governance and strategy standards. You’ll perform a variety of research, testing and administrative tasks in support of the firm’s digital marketing and web initiatives, while partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure consistency, alignment and adherence to firm brand and digital practices. This position can be resident in either our New York or Philadelphia office with a 3 day in-office hybrid working arrangement .

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain daily updates to the firm’s website using the content management system (CMS), including text, images, multimedia, forms, and surveys.
  • Intake and process new content requests and revisions through a shared team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate publishing.
  • Coordinate with content owners, business users, and communications editors to implement content updates and maximize on-site opportunities.
  • Perform routine website maintenance to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and optimal user experience.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure all web pages are functional, accurate, brand-consistent, and free of errors or broken links.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to ensure all website content is brand-consistent, and compliant with firm guidelines and legal marketing requirements.
  • Perform periodic content audits to maintain quality standards, accessibility, and governance requirements.
  • Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices across site content, including metadata, keywords, and content structure.
  • Optimize digital content for social sharing and visibility across platforms.
  • Support data analysis efforts related to web traffic, engagement, and performance to inform content and optimization strategies.
  • Work closely with content creators, marketing teams, designers, and developers to gather information, coordinate content updates, publishing schedules and website enhancements.
  • Partner with designers to develop, edit, and deploy graphic assets for digital communications.
  • Collaborate with website developers and technical teams to ensure website functionality and uninterrupted end-user experience.
  • Provide support on large-scale initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Log daily activities and project updates in the firm’s project management system.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and documentation to support workflow transparency and reporting.
  • Intake, assess, and route incoming requests while managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures for recurring tasks to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of web content workflows and operational practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, English or related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience with dedicated responsibilities associated with website publishing and/or development.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, including intermediate HTML and CSS
  • Adept at understanding the web and web usability, including the functionality of online applications.
  • Ability to understand and use web-based Content Management System (Sitecore knowledge preferred) and other forms-based web applications.
  • Knowledge of basic image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
  • Understanding of media (images, audio and video) usage in digital environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications and ability to adapt to new technology and programs.
  • Proficiency in production software and project management tools including Siteimprove, Vimeo, Yext, Google Analytics, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, WeChat, Survey Monkey, WebEx, and On24Hands.
  • Ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
