This role focuses... on assessing students' educational needs, providing detailed information about available programs, and supporting students from initial inquiry through application. Reporting to the Director, Admissions Contact Center, the Enrollment Advisor aims to help students make informed decisions about their educational future, ensuring they are fully prepared, knowledgeable about the benefits of SGU and confident in their choice to invest in furthering their education. This is a fully remote position with full-time and part-time hours available. Essential Functions • Act as the first point of contact for prospective students considering enrollment. • Handle inbound and outbound outreach via calls, texts, emails, and other communication channels to engage prospective students. • Assesses prospective students' educational goals and matches them to SGU programs and SGU differentiators. • Assist students in setting short-term goals and follow-up with students. • Maintain a high level of knowledge about SGU programs, services, and market competitors and be able to communicate information with confidence and transparency. • Provide guidance and support during the initial enrollment process. • Works to identify, understand, and respond to difficulties and overcome obstacles encountered in the enrollment process • Maintain regular communication with the In-House and Field Teams and their leadership to facilitate referrals, escalations and encourage attendance at recruitment events. • Utilize multiple technology platforms to track all communication and interactions with prospective students. • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects as needed. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong admissions, recruiting or customer service skills • Self-motivated with an interest in working to help others. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management software (CRM). • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills. • Adept at listening and communicating, both verbally and written Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 2 +Years of experience in an education-related field, preferably admissions, recruitment or advising. • Ability to engage and connect with prospective students from diverse backgrounds and life stages. • Experience managing multiple priorities at once. Work Environment/Physical Demands • This job is performed in a positive, creative and collaborative environment. Hours and Travel • Part-Time: A typical work week is 20 hours • Schedule: Monday through Friday 5-8 pm EST and/or Saturdays 10am-3pm EST • This is a fully remote position.
